The Baldwin B252 stands an impressive 52 inches tall, giving its soundboard and strings more room to develop a full, resonant voice than smaller upright pianos typically offer. Its design emphasizes tonal depth, clarity, projection, and responsive playing control across the keyboard.
Key features include a spruce soundboard and ribs, hand-notched hard maple bridges, high-grade music wire, and Baldwin’s Full Blow Direct Action. Individually weighted spruce keys are designed to provide a consistent, controlled playing experience. Three functional pedals provide sustain, bass sustain, and soft-pedal capabilities, while a quiet-play practice lever allows reduced-volume practice.
With its classic cabinet design and understated Satin Ebony finish, the B252 is a compelling choice for players who want the presence and performance of a large professional upright in a more compact footprint than a grand piano
